1. Program Name
This program is named "Multimedia Creation and Animation," established according to National Taipei University of Education's Credit Program Setting Regulations (Revised in the academic affairs meeting on April 12, 2017).

2. Purpose of Establishment
There are two purposes for establishing this program: first, to enhance students' skills in multimedia creation and animation, encouraging them to develop diverse expertise, increasing their competitiveness in the job market, and expanding employment opportunities. Second, to cultivate basic professional talents in this field for the nation, enhancing Taiwan's competitiveness in the global digital content industry.
3. Units of Establishment
Host Unit: Institute of Curriculum and Instructional Communication Technology (hereinafter referred to as "our institute")
Supporting Units: Department of Computer Science, Department of Digital Technology Design, Department of Art and Design, Department of Education, General Education Center
4. Course Planning

5.  Relevant Study Regulations
5-1. This program requires 16 credits.
5-2. One class is offered per academic year for this program, with a maximum of 40 students per class.
5-3. Students who have taken the same course and passed in the support unit where this program is offered can apply to our institute for credit calculation. Other relevant courses can also be applied for credit calculation, but approval must be obtained from our institute's teaching and communication subcommittee. The upper limit for credit calculation in this institute's program is 8 credits. If a student applies for courses from their major department, the maximum credit calculation is 4 credits.
5-4. Students of the bachelor's program who study this credit program should follow the tuition and fee regulations based on our university's "Credit Program Setting Regulations."
5-5. Ffter passing the application review, students who have taken courses from this program can have their credits exempted according to the program's regulations.
5-6. Graduates who are qualified to study in this program but have not completed the required credits can continue to study this program if they become students of our university's graduate program. The credits they have already completed will be counted.
5-7. Students who have fulfilled the required credits and passed the courses should proactively contact the program's host unit (our institute) with their Chinese transcripts attached one month before graduation, and apply for the issuance of a program certificate.
5-8. According to the "National Taipei University of Education's Credit Program Setting Regulations" Article 5, bachelor's program students who study credit programs and already meet the graduation requirements of their original departments, but have not yet completed the required subjects and credits of this program, can provide relevant proof to apply to the Office of Academic Affairs for an extension of the study period, with a maximum extension of 2 years. However, the total length of study should still comply with the university's academic year limits and the university's regulations.
Our institute recognizes students of this program (those eligible to apply for an extension) who have completed at least 3 courses from this program, including one required course.
6. Eligibility and Application Time
6-1. Eligibility:
Students in their 2nd year or above (inclusive) in the undergraduate and graduate programs of various departments of our university can apply to our institute by submitting the application form for studying the program.
6-2. Application Time: Before the end of each semester's add-drop period.
7. For any matters not covered in these guidelines, relevant university regulations shall be followed.
Eight, After approval by the college affairs meeting, these guidelines will be submitted to the academic affairs meeting for review and approval by the president.
